We take around

24,000 breathes

every day.

Simple changes can improve your homes air quality.

All heating & insulation measures that are installed under the ECO4 or GBIS Schemes must have adequate ventilation prior to any home upgrades being completed; We must ensure your current ventilation is up to date and efficient.

We will install trickle vents, core vents and extractor fans in any rooms that have/or could potentially be affected by moisture build up.

  • Trickle vents are normally installed at the top of your windows; they allow for a small amount of ventilation even if your windows are closed.

The vent is designed to help prevent problems associated with poor ventilation, such as condensation. Additionally, they help to remove stale air from your home, and remove any lingering odors.

  • An extractor fan is quite simply a device which is used to improve the ventilation of a room. Extractor fans are usually installed in kitchens and bathrooms and draw moisture laden air out of the room and vent it outdoors.

With all heating and insulation upgrades, it is a requirement as part of the scheme to ensure all wet rooms have adequate ventilation before any upgrades can be installed.

  • Core vents in a home are ventilation components, often found in walls, designed to facilitate airflow. They can be used to ventilate gas appliances, provide general room ventilation, or help with condensation and moisture control.

We often install core vents in rooms with gas fires, or in rooms that cannot have trickles vents installed.
